I don’t know how to not make things. It is impossible for me to feel at ease unless doing something creative.
When I make I become enthused and absorbed in the act, the doing is the all, the results a chance happening when my mind and approach to materials combine to affect them.
I cannot restrict myself to one material, I need to explore and question. Processes are my fascination; I collect them around me and play with their potential.
I gesture when I talk and I think more clearly when my hands are moving, it’s about communication.
