Recent work takes the form of cloth books containing a combination of drawn, printed and stitched imagery.
The act of making these books of sequential images both documents and explores a series of questions and the possible solutions.
The questions are posed in response to struggles over practical issues in daily life that whilst seemingly insignificant can represent huge personal hurdles.
I am interested in how the detail of these often minor practicalities can capture a much broader picture of the life behind the public face we present.
I am exploring the idea of completing each book by presenting the answers at the back. This of course depends on whether I find the answers.
