Whenever I do anything it’s never quite right – be it either the words that describe the making process or the things that I make, I am never completely satisfied with the result.
So I do it again, then again, sometimes better, sometimes worse, sometimes just in my head.
What I try to make is cloth. I am fascinated by the way fibre reacts when manipulated by the making or the finishing process. So I try it this way, then that way, changing the fibre, changing the structure, always moving on to the next version or idea.
