My collection of stitched and printed fabrics aims to challenge traditional masculine identities and push the boundaries of accepted design by adopting a feminine approach to menswear. Primarily drawings are based upon unusual everyday objects that are deemed to be typically masculine, transformed and made more feminine through the application of colour and pattern. Computer aided design forms an important aspect of the design process. By combining screen printing techniques with Multihead computerised embroidery I produce fabric designs that offer an alternative collection of mix and match ideas for the young professional male who likes to present a personal sartorial statement. I
am interested in both freelance work and becoming a textile/embroidery
