My work is predominantly film based, exploring biblical passages through the use
of the digital video camera. I am particularly interested in recording symbolic textile
processes such as knit and weave to examine concepts and ideas that are important to me.
Recently my inspiration has come from Psalm 139,
exploring the beauty and intimacy of creation within the womb:
“For
you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s
womb…
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place,
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my
unformed body”
