Under the influence of dreams, the surreal and Freud’s interpretations, this work has developed through experiments using the knitted stitch.

Despite the stigma surrounding knitting, these creations embrace the practical craft turning it sideways and shaking it up a bit! The tradition of knitting has been cast off and stitches have been picked up in the surreal world of dreams. By integrating objects, concepts and traditions, I have produced an eclectic array of knitted miscellanea; socks, food, household goods, clothing, recycled items, words and material.
