Dippti Mistry Chief Study: Woven Textiles 

My constructed textiles are focused on producing interesting woven effects through various yarn combinations, using subtle proportions of colour and structure; which result in creating diverse, contemporary 3D fabric forms.

The play of light on my fabrics is an important factor with design inspiration coming from textures and structural qualities of natural objects. I enjoy furthering the woven textiles by transforming them into actual lighting products.
