The spiritual nature of colour and its ability to induce emotional responses, combined with the expressive characteristics of tribal body decoration have become a fascination that is expressed through my work.

Through the exploration of colour and mark making present in the body adornment of indigenous tribal groups, I have produced a collection that resonates the beauty of the art that focuses particularly on the contrast between skin tones and brightly coloured embellishment.
