Elizabeth Orekoya Chief Study: Woven Textiles 

Image and identity have been a quintessential part of my collection. With reference to my own cultural background and other cultures my work combines the traditional with the contemporary.

My design work is influenced by the way in which cloth can cover, drape and move over a body, and therefore I have a keen interest in fashion. The collection uses bold colourways and relies on the interplay between patterning and stripes.
